Running Races (how to)

This section will explain what needs to happen in order to run good races.  Below you will find a schedule outlining who is responsible for running races during each scheduled race day.  If you are the Primary Racing Official (PRO) it is your responsibility to:

1)  Coordinate people to help you.

2)  Understand how to launch and run the race committee boats (starting pontoon link below- this can be tricky).

3)  Understand how to start and run three races (starting guide link below).

4)  Properly record the results and deliver those results to the responsible party (current scoring sheet link below).

In addition, the PRO should activily promote racing for the day.  This should include sending batch emails, calling key people and in general building enthusiasm for racing on your scheduled day.

Below you will find a link to a PDF document that will outline in detail all the responsibilities.  If you have any questions, you should get in contact with the R/C Chair.  The current Race Committee Chair is Mike Duff  mike3917@gmail.com  (913) 579-3761.
