Juniors (Opti & Laser)

KSA supports two levels of Junior sailing.  The Optimist, or "Opti" for short. is a great boat for kids 12 and under.  Here is a link to the national class website www.usoda.org .

The Laser www.laser.org is a high performance Olympic class boat designed to be sailed by one.  Many world class skippers have started in Opti's, competed in the Laser class and gone on to win Olympic and America's Cup victories.

Contact Ted Lischer (816) 803-3920 tlischer@aais.com for more information on Kansas Sailing Association's Junior Program.
